Elites betray us by not informing us of their plot to rule in their perspective, whether for their belief in a greater good or a coherent enslavement.
Puppets betray us by being cognitive of the difference and still committing to their plan for the sake of greed, fear or even a sincere belief in said cause.
One is more fragile and expendable - and far more prone to fret - and when challenged they will plead to their authority and when abandoned, plea for your forgiveness.
They will find none.
